Xmas Offensive of 3330

[Galactic Threats, History, War]

In 3330, once again came the year when the deranged villain known as Evil Santa reappeared in a new attempt to subdue the galaxy.

Evil Santa arrived as always, announced by a delirious Christmas music used as a psychological weapon, and releasing to the world an almost endless horde of Mechs with mocking forms, imitating Christmas elements and produced by the crazed mind of this old enemy.

Initially, the Evil Santa's minions kept stationary in the initial planets from where they started their offensive. Contrary to the usual strategy of Evil Santa, this time his hordes of minions remained stable after capturing a handful of mining planets of little interest, waiting for new orders.

The Mercenary Clans were put into action, this time without waiting for the juicy contracts of the Great Powers. Gathering their forces in garrisons from which to counterattack the numerous troops of the crazed Evil Santa.

Faced with the reluctance of the Great Powers to intervene at all and who started to strengthen exclusively their respective areas of influence, the Mercenary Clans began to send recon missions to try to anticipate the plans of Evil Santa, although unsuccessfully.

After some reports of attacks and theft in museums of ancient history and archeology, and the massive concentrations of Santa's minions in the fringe, finally the Evil Santa's plans got revealed.
With a surprisingly sudden maneuver, the distorted Xmas army moved to the Clarke Federation, within the Gate to the Metaverse. The Clarke troops got largely overwhelmed and retreating, leaving the gate in the hands of the Santa's minions, from where they started a major offensive into both galaxies: Ours and the Metaverse.

Their unexpected arrival in vast numbers overwhelmed the troops safeguarding the portal to the Metaverse and have taken control of it. Evil Santa’s minions have now launched a major offensive into both the Metaverse and Mecha Galaxy.

However, dividing his forces on several fronts whose supply lines can not be maintained without paying a high price, was never the most sensible strategy. And so, once again, the megalomaniacal character of Evil Santa truncated his plans of conquest in yet another defeat with which to season his wide collection of humiliations, forced to flee to his secret workshops deep in the uncharted zone.
